Christensen's Tulip
is our petite 15 pound AKC Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and she has beautiful ruby red puppies! She comes from a long line of Ruby Cavaliers.
Her sire is Kody II and her dam, Margot Robbied My Heart from the Brad Lee Barnes Kennels in Arkansas.
We chose Tulip for her sweet temperament. This girl loves to cuddle and stare deeply into your eyes before she sneezes in your face! LOL
She is a wonderful companion and we hope this litter will be as empathic and loving as she is.
Tulip loves going for walks and playing with a ball. She loves to be scratched behind her ears and cuddled for hours.
Tulip is cleared for DNA. She has not undergone OFA as she is co-owned and there is worry about her being sedated as she is so small. That being said, she comes from a line with no hip or knee problems and the puppies from her five previous litters have had no problem.

Alonso's Pumpkin Ginger Spice Latte
or "Spunky Punky" as we call her is our rambunctious 3 year old AKC Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Her sire is Christensen's Turquoise (Blenheim) and her Dam, Christensen's Aspen (Black and tan). We expect a 50/50 chance of red puppies or black and tan. Pumpkin is always happy to meet new people and animals. She loves to cuddle and is very tolerant of little hands. Pumpkin loves going for rides in the car, walks in the park, and playing on the beach. She enjoys playing with other dogs and is very social, but more people motivated than dog motivated. That all being said, she still needs to undergo OFA testing. None of her siblings or past litters from the same parents have had any problems. AKC# TS50248904

Alonso's I'm Calling Timber! Cove
is our 2.5 year old AKC Phantom Miniature Poodle from a kennel in Oklahoma. She was the smallest in her litter and is fully grown at 10 lbs. Her sire is Garth B Poodle and her dam is Perfected Glitz&Glamour by Idajewels. We searched a long time to find a miniature poodle with phantom coloring, that was AKC, and passed health testing. We feel very fortunate to have her in our pack! She is our little crown jewel with a thick and very curly coat, which is so soft. Timber has the sweetest temperament. She is athletic, great with children and other dogs, and is happy to be groomed. Timber loves to go paddle boarding, go for rides in the car and the bicycle basket, and go for walks through our town, greeting everyone she encounters. We can't wait for her first litter of toy poodles. |

Alonso's Hidden Gold in Dutch Flat
"Little Dutch Crunch", as we affectionately call him, is our AKC Toy Poodle stud. Dutch is a proven stud and available for stud services. Full grown, he is 10 pounds. His sire is Sapphire Ridge It's Nerf Or Nothin and his dam is Sapphire Ridge Ravin Sage from the renowned Sapphire Ridge breeders here in California. Dutch is a phantom poodle, like Timber, but he is also brindle. His markings don't show as clearly, but we chose him for his clear DNA panel and the traits he carries for the rainbow of puppies he can produce. Sapphire Ridge is the kind of breeder we aspire to be like and we feel very fortunate to have one of their dogs as our stud.

He enjoys walks, but really loves to run on the beach. We call him our baby giraffe because of the way he runs down the hall in the mornings with his "long" legs. He is very playful and still full of that puppy spirit. He has firmly wedged himself into our hearts and we couldn't be happier to have him in our pack. His one draw back is that he is so rambunctious that getting a good pictures of him seems nearly impossible. This is as good as it gets for now.

Why is DNA and OFA testing so important to us? We only want to breed healthy dogs. We wouldn't want a dog that had genetic disorders to be passed down and continue through future lines. Our effort it always to "improve the breed" and only produce the healthiest puppies possible.

This is our whelping area. It is sanitized daily and my kids spend most of their time in this room so that Tulip is never lonely. And before I get an email about it, there is a space between the pen and the wall so the plug is and cord are not accessible to the dogs. The heating pad is made for whelping, the cord has a bite proof protection around it. I also have a video camera I am able to access from my phone during the times I am not present.

This is part of our dog run. You can see someone recently destroyed a toy! We keep this clean with an enzyme cleaner and it's a nice safe place to chill with the dogs.

Here's the other end of the dog run. They don't have access to the wood shed, but like playing in the sand and ivy. Bodie enjoys playing tug o' war with the tire swing rope.

I feel so fortunate that before we moved here there was a day care. The entire yard is fenced! I like this little area for sensory development. I don't let the dogs spend too much time on the peat gravel, but it's good from time to time.

This is the other portion of our back yard, don't judge the after summer grass! It's perfect for playing fetch or splashing in the kiddie pool.
